Loving Lucite

Lucite was popular in the 1930s during the “golden age” of Hollywood. The transparent nature of the material creates a lightness and can be the perfect complement to many decors. It adds an element of glamour and sophistication without being overpowering or taking up too much visual space. Lucite has definitely made a comeback and is probably here to stay. I recently used the brass and lucite sconces from Circa Lighting seen below. They are beautiful and have a strong but subtle impact.
