I absolutely love wearing skirts especially when they are as pretty as this pink scallop skirt. As soon as the sun is shining, you’ll find me reaching for my skirts. The best part of wearing a skirt is the ability to create different outfits by changing out your tops.
Our Easter celebrations have officially begun today, which means a big feast with the family. The last thing I want is to feel restricted in my clothes when I over eat all my mom’s great food. Because no Italian Easter is complete without at least four courses and then of course some snacking!
This skirt is so soft and flattering. It’s constructed from cotton in the prettiest blush pink colour. It sits high on the waist and has a full silhouette, which is what makes it so flattering.
I wanted to keep the look casual and paired it with the most wonderful tee. Seriously this t-shirt has become one of my favourites! I bought it in two colours because I love it so much. It’s cropped and knotted at the front making it perfect for all my high waisted bottoms. The back is finished off with elastic ensuring the top sits where it’s suppose to.
The great thing is how versatile it is, I’ve even worn it with my distressed jeans and heels and it looks amazing!
I’ve worn these flats before on the blog and while these particular flats are no longer available, I’ve linked up a few styles that are very similar. These flats are delicate enough to wear with skirts and dresses. If you don’t have a ballet flat that you love, it’s something you’ll want to add to your wardrobe. The wrap around ankle makes them extra fun!
This scallop skirt is the perfect skirt for Easter or for anything you have planned this weekend!
To all of you celebrating this weekend I wish you all a Happy Easter.
