This red off the shoulder sweater is one of the reasons I have been so excited for fall. I picked it up on a shopping day while we were away in Las Vegas.
I love fall fashion. All the chunky knit sweaters, boots, and scarves can be so comforting. For me fall is my new year, more so than January. It’s a time when I feel most motivated and I revisit my goals and set new ones.
I remember growing up and going back to school shopping. Stocking up on all the newest trends and fall clothes. I’ll never forget the feeling of planning my outfit for the first day of school. Of course the first day of school was always hot and here I was sporting my brand new turtle neck and corduroys dying of heat. But I couldn’t have been happier because I had my new clothes.
While I love fall, dressing for the season can be challenging. This is especially so when the mornings start off crisp and by the afternoons it’s much warmer. Even with the sun shining there always seems to be a cool breeze in the air.
The best way to address fall’s ever-changing temperature is by layering and wearing light weight sweaters. This red off the shoulder sweater is the perfect piece for fall. The bare shoulders are great as it gets hotter in the afternoons. By layering it with a scarf you don’t need to worry about wearing a jacket. Scarves are so versatile and can be easily tucked into a purse for when you need it.
